Student Short Film

Hi, my name is Kim Shoihet and I am currently a student at VFS. I have been working on a short psychological thriller that means a lot to me for about a year now and I am finally receiving an opportunity to bring it to life. I have gathered a crew but I still need funding to hire actors, rent props and rent a location. Any amount helps and will be highly appreciated. The film follows Carter, an unnerved and overly-medicated writer, who attempts to pull the third all-nighter in a row in order to finish his novel and pay for his beat-down, rugged apartment. He finally harbours a steady writing flow when he is interrupted by a strange broadcast on his TV, repeatedly informing him to lock his door just as somebody begins knocking. When Carter realizes that his lock is broken, he is thrown into a loop of insanity causing him to commit an act he would soon come to regret.
