Help Save Tammy's Life
Donation protected
I am writing today with a heavy heart to ask for your help in a difficult situation. My wife, Tammy, was in a horrible accident where she was crushed by a 3000 lb scissor lift. She is in UCHealth at University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus near Denver fighting for her life. Hers is a medical crisis requiring urgent, continuous medical care.
Her chest was crushed flat. She has multiple broken ribs and severely bruised lungs with continual bleeding in her left lung. The worst part, though, is her heart. Her aortic valve burst open from the extreme crushing pressure. It is no longer closing, and her heart cannot pump blood to her body. A machine is keeping her alive. She also sustained two broken wrists and her left leg is fractured in multiple places all the way down to her ankle.
Tammy had to be “Flight for Life” transported two times from Newcastle,Wyoming to the hospital in Rapid City and then was “Flight for Life” to the UCHealth at University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora where doctors are trying to stabilize her enough that she may endure open heart surgery to repair her aortic valve.
Tammy is forty-seven years old. We have two beautiful children, Amber fifteen and Blaine fourteen. Tammy and I own our own company, 307 Print, in Sheridan, Wyoming, Tammy and I are the only employees in our company. Tammy’s road to recovery will be a long one and she will be in the Hospital here in Aurora for at least six weeks and recovery will be over 6 months to a year. I will be by her side during this whole time. With that being said, we will have no income as our company is now shut down.
Therefore, I humbly request your support to help us raise funds to cover our medical and living expenses. Any contribution, no matter how small, would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for taking the time to read this letter. Your support means everything to us. Each and every donation is of great value and will go a long way in helping Tammy, Amber, Blaine, and myself throughout this, our time of life-sustaining need. If you are unable to contribute financially, prayers are still of great importance and most appreciated.
We sincerely thank all for the love, support, and well-wishes already given during this challenging time, and we wish to thank the rest of you from this moment on for your contributions, deeply needed encouragement, up-lifting thoughts and your prayers.
