Help Tim get his smile back!

Hi, my name is Michaela and I am fundraising to help my uncle Tim afford a new dental bridge. Tim was born with a bilateral cleft lip and palate, which means he had an opening on both sides of the upper lip to the nose, as well as on roof of the mouth, opening into the nose. To correct these issues, Tim had to endure multiple surgeries through out his childhood. For years he was too ashamed and embarrassed to show his smile, which, if you know Tim, is all you want to do when you're around him. Unfortunately, things became even more complicated with his dental health in his early 20s, after he lost his only 2 front teeth in an accident. This accident not only completely decimated the little confidence he had, but it made a dental bridge a necessity. Luckily, he was able to get the dental work he needed, and it changed his life! With his new bridge he felt whole new level of self confidence. He was no longer embarassed or ashamed of his smile, in fact, he smiled constantly afterwards, finally able to be his true self.

Fast forward to today....

Tim is a hard working husband, and dad to 3 children. He always puts his kids first, and tries to make the best life for his family. That is why this year, due to the rising costs of living in Arizona, Tim and his family took a leap of faith and decided to move to North Carolina. Their adventure was full of hope for a new beginning and a chance to have new experiences. While the transition has been bumpy, moving across the country is a big adjustment, Tim and his family have been working tirelessly to adjust. They have met each challenge with gusto, BUT when Tim's bridge broke, everything came crashing down.

Once again, Tim's smile is gone. He is in desperate need of a new bridge to be built, which is made even more complicated by the fact that one of the anchoring teeth was damaged by the dysfunctional bridge. After multiple visits with his dentist, he found that it is going to be around $10K, after dental insurance coverage, to build him a new bridge. As you can imagine, this price tag is astronomical for Tim and his family. This is a financial burden that they cannot carry alone which is why I am asking for help. Any amount is appreciated and will go to creating this essential dental device for Tim.
