Christina Neal's Cancer Battle

Three years ago, Christina Neal was on the road to success. She is a college graduate and is now studying to become a PA, while working to help support her family. At the age of 26, Christina was diagnosed with breast cancer. She didn’t want her diagnosis to prevent her from reaching her goals. After treatment that included a unilateral mastectomy, Christina returned to her normal activities. Last year, her cancer returned in the skin, which is very rare. Again relying on her strength and perseverance, she underwent treatment to remove and repair the area affected by cancer. In March of this year, Christina’s breast cancer returned as Stage 4. Unfortunately, the cancer has already spread to her liver. Despite this, Christina and her family have not lost hope. She will now undergo two surgeries, the first one is schedule for next week and the second in November to remove 75% of her liver. Christina will face this challenge with the same strength and faith she has exhibited throughout her life.
