Grace Church Fire Pit Area

Hello,

My name is Aiden Lawrence, and I am about to embark on my Eagle Scout project.

Ever since Covid-19, people have been trending toward outdoor spaces, especially with larger groups. The main goal of my Eagle Project is to create an outdoor Fire Pit at Grace Church, in Fayetteville, where people can glorify God and gather as a community.

I designed this project to create a comfortable and fellowship-friendly environment tucked into the woods next to the Church buildings. My project will help ministries at the Church by providing outdoor space to host non-profit groups like Glow and Club 2.0. GLOW is a faith-based non-profit that helps low-income women between the ages of 14-25 by providing necessary leadership and life skills. Club 2.0 is a local Grace Church organization that provides a safe and loving place of fellowship for disabled adults 21 and up.

When finished the space will have a central firepit, four wooden benches, and slate chips along the ground to define the space with a natural aesthetic.
