My name is Joe, and I am Grace’s husband. Grace and I have been married twenty-nine years and together have had two handsome sons, Matthew and Ian. She loved all her life: she loved her family; her friends; and her co-workers - all very much!!! Unfortunately, after a long five year battle with cancer, her journey ended on September 3, 2022, in peace and surrounded by loved ones. A life taken way too young; and, because we are both so young, we never imagined planning for our deaths, although that time has come for Grace. As a result, we are raising funds to provide her with a Christian funeral and memorial to honor her amazing life, as she was strong in her Catholic faith; therefore, we believe it is important for her to receive a proper burial. Given that this was a long and arduous journey, while simultaneously paying for our sons’ educations, we both missed numerous hours and days of work at doctor’s appointments, blood transfusions, chemotherapy, and so on, meaning we were not prepared for the unexpected costs of a funeral. The funds will be used for burial matters, including, but not limited to, her wake, funeral ceremony, and all other burial costs, which are not nominal expenses.
