Through my involvement with "A Culinary Evening with the California Winemasters" benefiting the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, I have had the privilege to befriend the most charming, charismatic and talented young woman. Our beloved Winemasters Ambassador, 16 year-old Grace Rose, has garnered a spot in the prestigious Institute for American Musical Theatre's "Broadway Boot Camp" in New York City.
As Grace Rose's rigorous schedule for CF treatments preclude her from sharing a dorm room with the other students, her mom has had to hunt for affordable, private housing in NYC for the month-long program. Sincerest thanks to Cynthia & Wade Faerber and their dear friend, Ralph Opacic, for their help with the housing search.
Knowing that the medical expenses of caring for a child with CF are enormous, as a special surprise to Grace Rose and her mom Leah, I'm searching for 50 friends willing to contribute $100 in order to raise the $5,000 needed to underwrite housing and meals so that Grace Rose can realize her lifelong dream of studying theatre arts in NYC.
Musical theatre camp starts July 6th so we have just under two weeks to raise the $5,000. Please consider making a gift to help make Grace Rose's wish come true.
