Grace’s Half Marathon for St Andrew’s Hospice

I made the decision to run a half marathon last year after making it through a couple of 5k’s, without stopping, crying or completely hating them for the first time ever. Taking on the challenge while doing an 8 show week contract, as well as famously hating running for most of my life (Caistor Grammar Cross Country - never forget) might have been a bit brave, but fundraising for a charity so important to my hometown, St Andrew’s Hospice, will get me over that finish line.

St Andrew’s Hospice provides invaluable comfort, care, and dignity to individuals facing life-limiting illnesses, as well as support for their families - including my own family and friends. It costs almost £6million each year to provide their services, of which just 18% is funded by the Government, and they rely on the generosity of my small community back home to fund the rest.

Any donations big or small will mean the world to me, so if you can spare just £1 or £100 it will still make a huge impact - and will also encourage me to get those interval runs done!!!!
