Grace’s Summer program at Yale

Hello everyone!

My name is Grace. I currently attend 10th grade at a public high school in San francisco. I’m making this gofund me because I recently got an invitation to attend the National Youth Leadership Business Innovation, it's a Summer program being held at Yale University! I'm really excited that I'm getting this opportunity. If I go, I would be able to see what it is like to attend an Ivy League University, develop ideas and take my goals to the next level while staying on the campus of Yale, preparing for college, getting college credits and knowledge about what it takes to start a business.

I'm a sophomore, so my main focus right now is getting ready to take AP classes and applying for clubs. I really like Science/Computer Science and Engineering. Last Summer I was given the opportunity to do an internship in Computer Science and Cellular Engineering at UCSF and I will be doing another one this Summer. I want to pursue a career in STEM, most likely in Technology and Engineering.

I think it's important for me to attend this program because there aren't enough women in the Business field and because it will help me extend my knowledge to use it in my future career.
