Transforming Graffiti into Art at the Overlook

I am raising funds to commission an artist to do a nautical themed mural at Emma Schmitz Overlook Park in West Seattle. It is along a long wall the gets tagged with graffiti frequently. Even when the parks department paints over the graffiti it comes back in a few days. My hope is that a beautiful mural will stop the tagging.

The mural would be 189 feet long on the concrete wall that overlooks Puget Sound. The photo above is what the area looks like now.
