Graham West retired Fireman husband father of 2 & grandad 3

Hello, my name is Adele, I'm trying to raise some money for my mother to help with funeral expenses. For her husband (my father) who past away on Monday the 29th July 2024 at 3.30-4pm. He's official cause of death is myocardial infarction. Myocardial infarction or MI a heart attack. On his way home from dropping his car off for repair at a local garage.

Graham was 72 years old a retired fireman who served at Coventry fire station for a number of years before retirement. He saved hundreds of lifes during his service. He's run into exploding buildings ro rescue people. He's risked his own life to save others. He's had bricks thrown at him while trying to put fires out and on the way to a fire.

Any help would be great to take some pressure off my mum trying to find the money to pay to put him to rest. We have the money for him to be cremated but we still need to find £4875 for him to be laid to rest. My mum does not claim any benefits and was a house wife. She does not want to take a loan out as she's unable to pay it back.

He has 3 young grandchildren 2 boys 1 is 7 he has autism and adhd who does not understand why he can't see grandad and why grandad can't come and play with him anymore. and the other boy is 6 he is much loved by his grandad he lived playing with his toys and taking him out for little trips and having conversations with and always said how clever he is and a 5 year old granddaughter he always said she was like a little doll and his little princess.

He is having an unattended cremation and he did not want to make a fuss.
