Graham’s RoyalTea Covid-19 Survival Fund

Hello and thank you for taking the time to learn about our fundraising relief campaign.

This is probably one of the most difficult things I have ever done.  I’m not one to ask for help because I’ve always been too proud and the one OFFERING help (I did a GoFundMe Campaign last year for someone else in need... who knew what this year would hold!).

I was raised with a strong work ethic - you work hard for what you want, you provide for your family and share with others in need. I never expected to be the one “in need”.

Humbling and heartbreaking.

Here’s a little background as to who we are:

Graham’s RoyalTea is the labor of love and hard work of Floyd and Christy Graham. After suffering (what felt like insurmountable) tremendous family, health and personal losses/difficulties in 2015-2016, in 2017 we got up the courage to put everything we had into a restart in life.

Our vision was to create a unique, very special place where families and friends could gather together to celebrate and slow down just a bit in the time honored style of an English Afternoon “High Tea”.

During the past 2 1/2 years, we have had the honor of hosting groups celebrating new babies, weddings, birthdays for all ages (oldest turning 100!), dress-up Princess Birthday Parties, women’s groups, a book launch and so much more. What a privilege it has been to celebrate with so many members of our community in the “milestones” of their lives!

Then...Covid 19.

The celebrations came to a screeching halt. But, with a little creative ingenuity, quick thinking and, once again, hard work, we did a little reinvention and launched our Tea Party To-Go boxes. So many people have shared their joy and excitement in being able to do a curbside pickup and have their celebrations at home. Several shared they door-dropped boxes at friends and families then joined up online for virtual tea parties, or “QuaranTea” parties. Again, we’re so happy to contribute in bringing people “together” when we’re apart.

However, this has not provided the level of revenue we need to be sustainable.

The longer than expected shut-down and subsequent slow, phased reopening has taken an extreme toll and we are at the end of our resources. Now, as embarrassing and humbling as it is, we are the ones in need and asking for help.

GoFundMe has a campaign going where they will match donations up to $500.00 for small businesses to get them through this unprecedented time.

We know so many have been hit hard. If you are not able to contribute, we completely understand and wish all the best to you. But, if you can, we will be so very grateful.  Please, rest assured that all donations will go 100% toward the business operations including rent, utilities, insurance, supplies, etc.

We don’t want our dream to die and want to be around for a long time to come to serve and celebrate with our community.

Thank you again for your time and consideration.
