Graham's Top Surgery!!! (he needs help :)

I can't believe I'm doing this, but I'm asking for help with covering my out-of-pocket expenses for my top surgery. I have wanted this since I knew it was an option, I just took a little longer to admit it openly. I realize this is not a medically 'necessary' procedure, and yet it really is. I choose to address this procedure prior to my pending hand surgeries to address chronic pain, truly because I can tolerate being in physical pain, but I am not able to tolerate having these on my body anymore. I have waited so long, and now that the time has come, I need help to be able to make this a reality.

The procedure is scheduled for the first week of September. I am fortunate to have a sizeable percentage of the cost covered by insurance, however, the uncovered expenses, on top of the bills that will continue to be due while I'm out of work, far surpass my means.

I will be bed-bound for several weeks post-op and will not be able to work for just shy of a month. This is a humble (and also earnest) request for any aid you may be able to send my way, for the primary purpose of helping me meet housing and Quinn care expenses while I am recovering from surgery. If I am able to cover these things with donations, then any further aid I recieve will go towards my out-of-pocket expenses. For a gender-affirming double mastectomy, this can cost anywhere from 5600 to 32000 depending upon the surgery details, insurance, types of care, recovery course, and does not account for procedural complications. I am bracing for the worst, while also hoping for the best.

Though this feels uncomfortable, I'd rather take the risk of vulnerablility in asking for help then let my pride or fear prevent me from doing so.
