The Grance Family, Louisiana Floods

My name is Natalie, and behalf of all my family here in Texas, we are trying to do all we can to help out my sister. I hate that I can't be there to help her, since I am in Texas.
My sister, Christina and her family are one of the very many families that were effected in the Louisiana floods this past week. In just one day they lost more than they could imagine. The rain began and it never let up. 
FIlling their house within hours.
My nephew had to be rescued from his friends house after being trapped on top of a truck for two hours.


Everyone is very fortunate to be safe through all of this. But it's going to be a long road ahead of them and their town. Like many others, they do not have flood insurance. They have requested assistance from FEMA but no one ones how fast they will receive assistance. They have already begun tearing up floors, ripping out walls, trying to prevent any more damages. I want to give them everything I have, to the last penny if I could. This is my second home. My nieces schools are flooded, they don't know when they will be able to go back.


Cars are totaled. And several have lost their jobs. It's crazy to think someone could be fired due to something like this. I am asking for any help that you can give for my sister and my family. They have always bent over backwards to help me and now it's my turn. I will continue to do what I can but for now I am reaching out to friends and family.

"Our house We're safe and all accounted for. I'm just ready to get things back to normal. It's going to take so much time to repair our little town. The kids schools are flooded. People's homes, their jobs, their cars, doctors offices...this is the most gut wrenching feeling!! And there's nothing we can do from here but watch it all unfold."
