Grand River Pioneers Acoustic Drum Kit

Hello to the fans of Grand River Pioneers. My name is Luke, I'm the drummer in the band. The Pioneers have been together since March of 2021 and we have made tremendous accomplishments since. From writing over 20 original songs and playing them in venues across Ontario to releasing our first song. We have worked hard to be where we are today. Our opportunities keep growing with each show and the limit of what we are capable of keeps rising. Sadly as we are young adults going through school or just starting our careers, we don't have a lot of money to put into this band. Most of our instruments and equipment have been shared amongst us for the sake of a better sound. But when it comes to the drums there are no options to help. I purchased an electric drum kit years before joining the band and that is what I've had to use. Looking forward as this band takes its steps to become professional we need to look and sound professional as well. Purchasing an acoustic drum kit is no small thing. It has many parts such as drums shells, hardware, snare drums, Cymbals, etc. Drums can cost more than two to three times as much as guitar setups or bass setups. We as a band have wanted to get an acoustic drum kit but it's getting to the point where it is a necessity. I have taken on the task of setting up this GoFundMe in hopes of achieving this landmark goal for the band. We appreciate all who can give no matter the amount and I can't wait to start playing on a real drum kit.
