Grand Valley Horse Rescue Expansion
Tax deductible
The success of Grand Valley Horse Rescue has been overwhelming, with an increasing number of horses being rescued and more children wanting to participate in the program. The children and adult volunteers have been able to create a welcoming and nurturing environment for the horses, while also providing a unique opportunity for other kids in the community to interact with these majestic creatures.
However, the current facility is struggling to accommodate the growing number of horses and children. The stables are at capacity, and there is a need for more space for horse training and horsemanship lessons. Additionally, the rescue would benefit from office space to manage the administrative side of the operation.
To address these needs, the children are planning to expand the horse rescue. They envision a larger facility with more stables, a bigger riding arena, a cross-country course for those wanting to pursue the Olympics, and an office. This expansion would not only allow them to rescue more horses, but also to reach more children in the community.
Fundraising efforts are underway to support the expansion. The children are organizing various events, including a gymkhana series, virtual Kentucky Derby party, and community barbecue. They are also reaching out to local businesses for sponsorship and exploring grants that support animal rescue and youth programs.
The children are excited about the future of the horse rescue. Despite the challenges that come with expansion, they are committed to their mission of rescuing horses and providing affordable access to horses for children in the community. They believe that if everyone they contact will find two individuals to donate as well, they can reach their goal in 90 days.
Your contribution can make a huge difference. A donation of $60 can go a long way in helping us achieve our goals. If you can, please also encourage two others - friends, family, or businesses - to match your donation on our GoFundMe account. If $60 seems a bit steep, consider becoming a Buckaroo Builder on GVHR.org, where you can pledge $20 per month for three months. Every bit of help counts!
