Grandma Debbie Fleming, Hurricane Ian Survivor

Donation protected
On September 28th Hurricane Ian ravaged Fort Myers Beach, and in its destructive path it tried to take Grandma Debbie down with it.

While she was strong enough to survive Hurricane Ian, the place she called home did not.

At 70 years old she managed to hold onto a doorway on the second floor of the building, she watched the raging water rise, breaking the windows, and buckling the floors until the house could take no more; the walls around her beginning to collapse. She grabbed hold of a wire, the closest thing to her, hanging on to it until the detached roof became with in her reach. She then managed to pull herself onto the roof and cling to it through the rest of the hurricane, through the night, until the flood waters receded.

It is a miracle she is still here with us today and we are so very thankful she is still here to see all seven grandkids grow up!

But now begins the hard work of starting over.

She has lost everything. A home, her car, all of her furniture, her phone, all of the items she had for sale on her new eBay store, along with her important documents, and so many memories,

If you could, please donate to help give Grandma Debbie a second chance, to provide her with the essentials needed for a new home and transportation.

Anything you can do to help her would mean the world to us!
