Delores McLeod's (Grandma Pug) House Fire Recovery

Donation protected
Delores McLeod's (my Grandma Pug is what we call her) house burned down last night in San Leon, Texas. She lost everything. The trailer next door caught on fire, then spread to Grandma's place. Her daughter Tammie was with her, and fortunately, they got out along with Grandma's dog, Dixie Mae. But sadly, Tammie could not get her little dog Piper out before a fireman pulled her out of their home.

Grandma Pug lost all of her clothes, furniture, pictures, paintings, memories, lifelong possessions, absolutely everything. Even her car was damaged. At age 87, my grandma has no savings, and the property was not insured. Part of the home was remodeled after years of saving up, but the fire was a total loss and burned everything to the ground.

So many hardships have hit this family over the last few years, and what little my grandma had left is completely gone and left to ashes. We are doing our best to provide moral and spiritual support for our family, but we need your help to provide financially. We all know her as Grandma Pug, but if you don't know Grandma Pug, she is one of the sweetest, most social, and caring woman in the world. And to see her have to go through such a painful and terrifying experience is heart-wrenching for all of us.

Please donate if you can to help provide food, shelter, clothes, repairs, and anything else they need to recover from this traumatic, life-changing experience. $10,000 won't fix everything, but it's enough to help them get back on their feet temporarily. My name is Nathan Hatler, along with my father, Jay Hatler, Grandma Pug's son. God bless all of you, and please keep our family in your prayers.

I currently live in Florida, but 100% of all donations go to Grandma Pug. I am organizing this page and my father is handling the donations to assist Grandma Pug with her finances to alleviate the stress they're currently enduring. It says on the donation page that we are "organizing this fundraiser on behalf of Jay Hatler." That is only because Jay is listed as the beneficiary. With Pug being 87 and currently in shock, we've agreed that it would be very stressful and difficult for Grandma Pug to have to worry about handling the finances on her own. So my father is handing the financial side of this page.
