Grandma Unexpectedly Passed Away

On January 3rd, 2023 my grandmother unexpectedly passed away in her home. She had just gotten life insurance weeks before, but since she had yet to even make her first payment, the policy is void.

My grandmother lived in Kentucky, and my mom now has to arrange burial plans from states away, all on her own since her brother and sister have also passed.

My grandma wished to be cremated and her ashes spread over the same garden her daughter was spread over last year in the backyard of their home. Unfortunately, cremation costs $3,000 and we can't afford this unexpected expense.
