Her Story
In the summer of 2017 Virginia Hernandez began to feel ill. After many long days of tests, doctors discovered a tumor on her liver and it was confirmed cancerous. She had to under go numerous radiation treatments and chemotherapy.
After the diagnosis, she was hospitalized many times due to complications. After her last hospital visit doctors stated that the cancer had spread through out her liver, shutting down all her organs. In her last days, Virginia was sent home on hospice care to be surrounded with her family.
On December 25th, 2017 she passed away alongside her husband, children, and grandchildren.
