This film was funded entirely out of pocket by the producer and has been an absolute labour of love. We shot it over five beautiful days in early November. Our Director of Photography Morgana Mackenzie lifted the visuals off the page with such magical precision and skill and our tiny (but mighty!) core crew all volunteered their time and brilliance to bring this story to life. They worked very, very hard and had to call in a lot of favours. The cast of my dreams came in and lit up the screen with stunning presence and willingness and our dear supportive friends and family devoted hours of energy to supporting us along the way. During a global pandemic no less! I am proud of what we've been able to accomplish on the small budget we had. I believe in the commitment and talent of everyone involved in telling this story and we want this film to have a life!
We are currently in post production and are so close to completion but we need help getting there! By donating to our campaign you will be helping us finance the post production of the film as well as cover costs that arose during production due to managing a safe set under COVID- 19.
Your donation will go towards:
$ for a sound mix
$ for colour correction
$ for an additional 1 day shoot
$ for film festival submissions
$ equipment rentals
$ COVID tests
Whatever you can afford to contribute would be so deeply appreciated. There is truly, truly no amount too small.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart,
Vivien
