Grandmas for Clean Water
Donación protegida
Grandmas for Clean Water are Anishinaabe volunteers who travel Minnesota, supporting Water Protectors and educating those they meet about water issues. Whenever there is a call to protect Minnesota's water, they are present providing everyone with incredible homemade foods, the core of which is Minnesota's wild rice. Recently their role became all the more critical, as the MN Public Utilities Commission made the egregious decision to approve the new line 3 pipeline-a move in opposition with 94% of public input, our Indigenous communities and numerous state agencies. The Grandmas have stepped up their commitment and will be traveling throughout Minnesota, providing food to our resistance camps and communities along the way. I am planning to support their volunteer efforts by securing a small used RV so that they can more effectively bring their food, love and community to Minnesota. Your support is enormously appreciated and please know that you are positively helping in the stand for our pristine water.
The cumulative donations up to $2500 will be matched.
