Help us get a liver transplant 4 grandma val ♡♡
Donation protected
hi everyone, my mother is currently in liver failure. she has had two sister before this diagnosed, fought, and lost the battle to this horrible disease. Both sisters were placed on the transplant list only to be removed later on due to waiting too long and becoming too weak to survive the surgery. please don't let my mom get to this point. Our aunts suffered horribly at this point.
many may think that it was self inflicted but those would be wrong. She has never drank alcohol heavily, she can count on one hand how many drinks she's had in the last 15 years and prior to that was about the same. She worked in the justice system and took pride in her image to the community, she never did drugs or even experimented with them during her entire life.
she's a mom to four grown children; three girls and a boy. She's a proud grandma to seveb grand babies (who need her around for much longer then we currently expect. She's got four little girls who need tea parties with their grandma, one teenage girl and two teenage boys who would love so many more years to create precious memories with.
Shes been a caretaker to all, especially her son who has been battling a severe form of m.s. An advocate that enabled him to get experimental treatment to get him a much more comfortable life as well as hopefully lengthen his life span.
a mom to a daughter who's recently undergone brain surgery. although she's been in severe pain from the symptoms of liver failure and struggles to keep up with her own daily tasks she still tries to assist in her daughter's recovery by taking care of two of the youngest grandbabies while their mother recovers.
she's been a staple in much of her families health battles; including her extended family, siblings etc.
she was active in the years leading up to this but has since been exhausted and unable to accomplish many goals she still hopes to finish. she wants more years to spend with her grandbabies, especially the younger ones who haven't had the opportunity to create these beautiful memories. I.e. going to the lakes, tea parties, bringing them to Disneyland, hiking, ice fishing, river fishing, teaching them our traditional and cultural teachings.
she truly is a staple in everyone's lives she's touched. now that she needs help, it must be soon, and financially it's out of reach for all those around her.
unfortunately in British Columbia live donor transplants are not approved. however they are being done in other provinces, which would mean we would be responsible for medical expenses, transportation, accommodation, meals, etc for escorts, donor, and recipient. Therefore we are hoping to raise enough money to cover their costs comfortably and reduce the stress for them as they will need all the strength to recover as is.
please help us in saving our mom, our guide, our grandma... we would forever be grateful and indebted to you with ur assistance.
