Hello!

My name is Vicki Lein. I am a teacher, counselor, songwriter, and author trying to make the world safer for my grandson who has Down Syndrome. I write songs and books that teach and uplift. When the world is safer for him, it will be safer for you and everyone you love.

I originally published The Radical Kindness Warrior handbook in 2015 to share and honor this mission.

My book, Radical Kindness Warrior, is personal. Right after I lost my central vision and my ability to read and drive, I wrote interactive musical assemblies that were highly successful. The songs, which I call thera-tunes, and skits I wrote included teachers and parents and made our assemblies playful and effective.

As a Distinguished Oregon Educator, I traveled the world getting people up on their feet, singing, playing, laughing and connecting. We learned how to be brave and kind.

My hopes for the revisions, teachings and playfulness of Radical Kindness Warrior is to make compassion and empathy accessible to communities all around the world, including your own.
