Grandpa’s Funeral Arrangements

Please help us lay grandpa to rest now. Grandpa passed and gained his angel wings last night. Thank you for the continued support.

Hi everyone.

I never thought I would have to make a GoFundMe with this title but heartbreakingly, the day gets closer and closer so we are preparing for future funeral expenses.

A few months ago, the family’s world came crashing down when we found out news that no one ever wants to hear… Grandpa was diagnosed with cancer. Mesothelioma lung cancer. One of the most aggressive forms of cancers out there.

Grandpa has worked all his life. He is able to do it all and always has a solution. Grandpa is a mechanic, electrician, plumber, welder, and just all around handy-man. He can fix or build just about anything and always finds something to work on. Grandpa was always moving. He never stopped. Grandpa is like the glue to our family.. he keeps our family together and makes us laugh so many good laughs. No matter what he’s been through, he would always find a way and always persevered. Though it hurts to say this now, he always used to say that the day he gets too sick to do all the things he loves to do, he has stopped living. Those words are so painful because seeing him decline every day makes it all the more heartbreaking.

When he was physically able to until now, Gpa would always lend a helping hand to just about everyone and never asked for anything in return. All he wanted to do was be able to help. He also would always say that he never wanted anything in return except for people to be there for him too the day it was his turn to visit heaven…

Unfortunately, grandpa is now declining much much quicker than we thought. The form of cancer that he has is taking him from us faster than we would have imagined.

As with any cancer, it has put a huge burden on finances because of chemo treatments, radiation, and other medical bills. Mom & uncle (gpa and gma’s only children), have been exhaustingly working on funeral arrangements but have exhausted all financial sources.

As a family who just feels immense pain knowing that the day is near, we are asking for financial help so that we’re able to give gpa the memorial service that he sooo very much deserves.

Our family is so grateful for any kind of help we’re able to receive & we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. ❤️
