In 2012, Grand Strand Golden Retriever Rescue was founded by Ginger Caramico. She and a network of amazing volunteers and fosters have saved hundreds of dogs in the Low Country area and want to continue making a difference and saving the lives of dogs who live in fear, neglect, pain and suffering. GSGRR has promised to help the rescued dogs live happy lives full of love and the Golden Promise-that they will always be loved, all their needs will be met and that they can finally live the life they deserve, full of unconditional love!
Since the inception of GSGRR, Ginger has been the main source of funding this non profit organization, donating at least $11,000 per year out of her own income.The adoption fees cover less than 50% of what it takes to rehab, treat and care for the dogs we rescue.
To further hinder funding, Ginger has been recently diagnosed with Breast Cancer and starts chemotherapy TODAY (11/14/16).While Ginger has insurance, she also has a $10,000 deductible, a 30% co-pay after that, and $9,000 in uncovered medical bills sitting on her kitchen table. She will no longer be able to keep this rescue funded unless something is done NOW.
As a volunteer for this Organization, I am asking for help to save the rescue and help Ginger,as she has a heart of gold! I would like raise enough money to cover the cost of funding for GSGGRR for at least one year.
We want to raise at least $11,000 by 12/31/2016. I do not want Ginger to have to worry about funding the rescue while she is undergoing her treatments and fighting the battle of her life.
Any additional money that is raised will go directly to Ginger to help cover her unpaid medical expenses.
Ginger has been an angel to hundreds of Goldens and has kept her Golden promise to each and every one of the rescues.
Please help me give Ginger the promise of keeping the rescue going so the Golden promise can continue!!!!
