North Sligo Playground
Donation protected
Our playground in Grange, north Sligo was installed over ten years ago and has been an invaluable focal point for children to meet and play, and develop their physical, emotional and social skills. This high quality playground, integrated aesthetically into the park has also consolidated Grange village and attracts many visitors, increasing tourism and business. North Sligo Playground Group is a small voluntary committee of parents that manage all aspects of the playground maintenance without any direct support from the local authorities. Annual maintenance is significant to keep the playground to a high, safe standard and includes equipment repair and upgrades, grass cutting and insurance. As a result of Covid-19, the committee has not been able to carry out its regular funding activities such as bag packing, bucket collections and cake sales and are now appealing for your support. This GoFundMe page has been set up to allow people contribute to the upkeep of this valuable asset. This funding is needed to secure the ongoing operation of the playground so that children can continue to play, which is even more important now during these challenging times. We have set a target of €10,000 for ongoing upkeep - if we exceed this, we can look at expanding and upgrading our facility. We really appreciate your support and generosity. The North Sligo Playground committee registered charity would like to thank you for taking the time to read this and would be extremely grateful if you could make a donation.
