This is the official GoFundMe to support Evelyn Gonzalez, the artist at the center of the Grant Public Schools mural controversy. Evelyn is a junior in high school and a talented young artist who won a contest to create a mural on the walls of the Child and Adolescent Health Center in Grant, MI. She did not deserve the treatment she received at the school board meeting that brought all of this to light.
With all of the attention that this is getting locally and nationally, many people have reached out wanting to send Evelyn money or art supplies so that she can continue with her art and continue opening the hearts and minds of those around us. This money will help Evelyn to continue her education and attend art school in the future.
Grant is not full of hate and bigotry. There are many of us here that care and are accepting of all humans. Please donate or share!
