Grant's Playground - Bloomington, MN
Tax deductible
In November of 2018, Grant began pediatric cancer treatment for leukemia. He has since endured 27 months of chemotherapy, which has included persistent side effects, life-threatening infections, abrupt hospitalizations, and countless medical procedures. Due to his compromised immune system, Grant’s world radically shrunk to only the safest of spaces. Thankfully, outdoor playgrounds met those requirements and parks became Grant’s sanctuary in the midst of his battle for life.
This year, Grant has completed his course of treatment and been approved to begin kindergarten at Bloomington Lutheran School in the fall of 2022. In celebration of his victorious fight, the Make A Wish Foundation extended Grant the opportunity to make a wish of his own. With endless possibilities, Grant has wished to give back to our community. As he has requested, Make A Wish Minnesota will be making a contribution in the amount of $6,500 in Grant's name to be used toward helping fund playground equipment at our school. We are on a mission to fund the rest!
Grant's wish for a playground represents unshakeable joy and a future of hope. Please join us in making his wish for a playground for him and his new friends at Bloomington Lutheran School a wish come true!
