College, Wall Street, back home to get caught on The Farm, disabled from coma and resulting traumatic brain injury. Bob learns how to walk and talk again. His first venture, Antique Wood Art Furniture, takes pieces to Tahoe and Long Island. Bob's second addition is organic beef and produce. He raises German Shepherds. The organic beef introduces health food stores to "great meat". He puts out 1000 lbs/yr. of organic heirloom tomatoes. The German Shepherds become companion dogs to the disabled. A "disaster" halts things. A fire. Bob's determination to keep the 214 acres making sense brings a decision to reduce the "conglomeration". He halted it all except for his last acquisition, the horses, registered Paints. Bob has paid local farmers to hay and maintain the farmland. Bob did a timber harvest and made a 24'x36' shop/studio/store. His desire for success exemplified by the traumatic brain injury had all he had and earned go into saving the farm. He has concentrated on one thing !

Bob's Mom (87) and Dad (98) left home and where put in a long term care facility in Sept. 98. "They were not taking care of themselves". Bob went immediately to visit and spent 3 hours discussing their care and continuation of the farm, his role. It was a "board meeting" of the head nurse of the institution and one of his parents friends. Frank (Dad) had little input because of his dementia but managed to say, "you have the farm equipment". Joan ( Mom) understood Bob obtaining guardianship and asked him to find another long term care facility to better their needs. Bob had already researched the solutions for his desire to keep his parents comfortable, the farm his home safe. The next morning Bob followed up with The Post Office to get mail forwarded to him and was told, "your niece was here just a little bit ago with power of attorney forms and has the mail going to her". His next call to the bank brought the same, "she was here and has POA". The nightmare began !
"The kids" had control. It turned out they had POAs, health care proxies, and the wills in possession. Bob was told "you can have nothing to do with your parents. You can't even visit because it upsets them." A few weeks later Joan's heart failed and she died. In a few days later "the kids" had a SWAT team assault the house Frank built which ended with the house burnt down and brother dead. Franks was taken from long term care facility "because it is cheaper to put him in an apartment with Susan's Mom taking care of him". Bob and Frank's friends were not allowed to visit. " He is getting $3000.00/month in retirement benefits". The kids walked away from fire insurance claim because , "it was arson. He will never see any claim benefits". Bob took over "acting as guardian".
"It took 10 days after your letter to claims adjuster for $120,000.00 in structure claim and $36,083.00 in contents to be paid. We owe you a BIG THANKS !"
Frank died a few months later, 9 months to the day after Joan passed and there was just $85,502.77 cash left in the estate.
My parents "never mentioned cremation" and they got cremated.
Bob is on his parents estate of 214 acres and currently just lives on his disability benefits.
Legal fees now needed are for an attorney to acquire by "squatter's rights", adverse possession laws, the farm Bob calls "CHI-HIGH", home. The laws that currently appear to be the defense from being evicted by the executor(nephew) from Bob's father's estate. That executor who uses estate money to evict Bob from his home that he has beneficial title.
