Fundraising for our Grassroots Football Team

Hi, my name is Kate and I am the treasurer for our wonderful local U7's football team.

The team have played together from being in the local "nippers" team and are going from strength to strength.

I am of course proud to watch my son play every week, but could not be more proud of how the boys have bonded as a team and also as friends. We have a wonderful group of parents who are all prepared to muck in to support the lads, and we all enjoy watching from the side-lines twice a week and catching up with one another.

We are also very lucky to have two very supportive coaches on board who know each of the boys strengths and weaknesses and go out of their way to ensure they are developing them each and every week. They have created a fun, safe learning environment for the boys and I for one hope that their interest in football continues for many years to come.

What we are lacking, as with most grassroots clubs, is financial support. We do weekly competitions, are looking to open a tuck shop and all pay subs to support the club, but any other support we receive is always greatly appreciated. We are always in need of funding for kit, equipment and social events for the boys. Can you help?
