Grateful Hospitality Nourishment Fund
Donation protected
Front-line workers are the real heroes in the COVID-19 crisis. Hospital medical teams work tirelessly every day to care for those who are sick, provide life-saving procedures, and assist patients on their way back to health. Fire departments, ambulance teams, police departments and our own service industry are all in need of our support during this pandemic.
That’s why Chef Richard Hales and Wife [Jenny] Hales of Grateful Hospitality have pledged to raise $42,000 to provide 6,000 meals. For every $14 donation made, Grateful Hospitality will prepare a meal for a front line worker and match that donation by preparing a second meal for a second medical staff member. Our goal is to keep them fed and fed well when the last thing on their mind is eating.
Donations will go directly to distributing meals to different front line organizations around South Florida as a thank you for their selfless dedication to the community. The first two drops will be made to University of Miami Hospital and Jackson Memorial Hospital, where Chef Hales was treated for two brain surgeries and removal of cancer from his thyroid. Our third drop is to the Miami Beach Fire Department.
If you would normally give but at this time are unable let us know and we will provide a meal for you too.
If you have a specific place that you want us to cook for let us know and donate. We will provide it in your name or business.
Because...
We are in this together;
We are stronger together;
We are grateful.
We thank you for showing gratitude. Live Grateful.
