Grayson Needs Your Help

Hey y’all Grayson needs our support. He’s getting some much-needed gender-affirming care and it's happening way sooner than planned in response to some bad bills going through the Texas legislature. If SB 1029 and HB 1029 get adopted, it will mean he can't use his insurance to cover the cost of the surgery, making it financially unattainable. So to avoid that possible disaster, he's moved up his surgery date to April. Even with insurance, there are costs that won’t get covered and they are due soon with the new surgery date. He needs to raise 16K* by April 24th, 2023. The funds will cover pre-surgery treatments, surgery and hospital stay, and all the post-care including care support for him and his partner Carly. If you can support him with a donation of any amount, it would mean so much. It takes a village to raise a trans! ️‍

*Update as of March 15: the bills are now due and there are procedures totaling 6K that will not be covered by insurance. The goal has increased to 16K to cover that. Thank you for all the support so far!!
