Grayson’s 2nd Birthday Donate a Cooling Cradle

Our son was stillborn on April 26th, 2022. For his 2nd birthday we would like to celebrate his life by blessing others in need. We would like to donate a cooling cradle to a local hospital in need, for families who have lost their baby. This cooling cradle is the “gift of time” and allows memory making, keepsake creating, and photos to be taken as well as others to meet the baby before the natural changes that occur in death alter the baby’s appearance. Without this cradle, parents lose precious time with their baby when they are taken to the morgue. This cradle allows the parents to keep the baby in their room their entire hospital stay which can last up to several days.

It has been proven if parents can be given an environment and a period of time to slow things down and spend time with their infant, the benefits transcend across the emotional, physical and psychological. Whether the baby has passed from stillbirth, accident, injury, or illness, families can use this time making memories with their baby. These memories will be the moments that will help heal their hearts in the days, weeks, months and years to come.

We have been able donate one to Piedmont Henry Hospital and another to Piedmont Fayette Hospital where they have both already have been used by multiple families after losing their baby. This cradle will go to the next hospital on our list. Every hospital needs and one. Please help us reach our goal by giving the gift of extra time to a families in need.

**If we do not meet our goal- the remaining funds will go to other Grayson’s Footprints Foundation projects to help families that have lost their baby. This includes assisting in funeral/cremation costs, memorials, and much more. We are so thankful for each and every donation, share, and all of your prayers!
