Greasby Rainbow

As you may have noticed the rainbow has been removed and is currently being renovated ready to be returned to the village for everyone to enjoy. When I first had the idea of the rainbow I didn’t realise how much it would cost amd how much it would be affected  by the elements therefore I would like to cover the pebbles with a vandal proof perspex to help preserve the colour and stop them falling off. I also need to repaint the board and some of the pebbles, plus build a new frame. As you can imagine this all cost money. I have worked out that I will need around £300 to cover all the costs. I will arrange a sponsored hunt for the children to take part in over the next few weeks to raise some money through this page.  If you could donate even just a few pounds towards reaching the total that would be amazing. The rainbow really brought the community together and gave the families and children a focus during a very difficult time. It would be a shame for it to not be displayed more permanently as I know it brings a lot of joy to many people and a pop of colour to the village.
