Great Barrington Police K9 Program Support

Donation protected
On April 21st, the Great Barrington Police Department, very unexpectedly, lost it's beloved K9 Officer Titan.  At only 5 1/2 years old Titan "fell ill and a mass was discovered in his chest. It was determined not to be treatable and the difficult decision was made to end his suffering. K9 Titan faithfully served his partner, Officer Ullrich, the GBPD and his community since 2017."

Officer Ullrich started Great Barrington's K9 program in 2011, at that time it was funded through generous donations from a supportive community. Coupled with award grants and ongoing donations received, the program has remained a valuable asset to the community with limited impact on tax dollars.  Over the years both K9 Jori, and after him, K9 Titan have served their community in countless positive ways.  With our help, this program can continue.

"The department is excited about the continuation of this program and is currently accepting donations to support it. When the K9 program was started 10 years ago, it was donation funded to have little to no impact on community tax dollars. It is our intention to continue to run the program in this way. Donations received will go towards not only the purchase of a new dog but food, medical expenses, training equipment, supplies, boarding, grooming and to support the overall needs of the program."

Every little bit helps so lets all pitch in!
