Great North Run - Gemma Lee

Hi, my name is Brad, for anyone that knows me, they will know how much this is going to kill me

I have decided to run a half marathon in September and wished to do it to raise some money for a great cause which I have chosen Gemma Lee. Please read below Gemma’s story.

Gemma is a 40 year old mum of 2 young children. Diagnosed with grade 4 glioblastoma aka the terminator in 2019 .

The Tumour is very rare & inoperable so standard treatment hasn’t been as effective as we’d hoped.

24 months into a 12 month prognosis due to trial drugs & alternative protocols which cost in excess of £5k monthly, this is just for the trial drugs which have been having a positive impact.
