Great Smoky Mountains Wildfire

11.28.2016: The Great Smoky Mountains of East Tennessee caught fire. Due to low rainfall this year and large windgusts, the fire quite literally spread like wildfire to cover many parts of Sevier County. This GoFundMe page is specifically for the loved ones in my hometown who are now grieving the loss of numerous homes and businesses, as well as the loss of natural beauty in the Smokies. My childhood home burned to the ground. Fortunately, no one was home and my family is safe.

My sweet Tennessee town is hurting right now. My name is Annie Malone & I am active duty military, currently stationed in San Diego, CA and can't go help at this time. But what I can do is help as best I can financially. So please, if you feel led to, please donate to help my community that I lovingly call home.

As mentioned earlier, the funds will specifically go to families in Sevier County I know who need help purchasing basic necessities they have lost in the wildfires, i.e., clothes, shoes, food. I also plan to help support my parents with some of the funds to help them re-purchase basic itmes. With the holidays near, I would also like to contribute to families with children who won't have Christmas gifts this year. Any remaining funds will be given to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park.
