Great Tey primary school Football equipment
Donation protected
Me and my daughter Danielle are braving a skydive 24th June and we are hoping to raise £500 to help my sons primary school to buy new football goals and equipment.
Sadly as many of you know, my oldest son Calum lost his life to leukaemia in February after fighting for a year the hardest battle anyone could ever fight.
Calums little brother Joe, who is 11, attends great tey primary school. And I honestly don’t know what we would of done without them this last 16 months.
Mrs Overton and the other staff have all gone over and beyond to support Calums little brother Joe through this horrific time, and me and my daughter Danielle want to give back to them somehow to say thank you, and to honour Calum through his love of football.
Calum and Joe are both huge Liverpool football club fans, and Calum played football all of his life.
Football has really helped Joe to let out some of his emotional trauma of loosing his brother, who protected him from day one.
To be able to raise enough money to help buy new football goals and equipment for the school will be so meaningful for my boys, Calum and Joe. And this will help other children to participate in such a great sport, being both physically and mentally beneficial to them.
So please, if you can spare a donation for this really meaningful cause for a wonderful school, we would very much appreciate it.
