Hello all,
My name is Jay Driver and I am part of the Wellesley High School baseball team. I, along with my fellow captains, Max Zajec, Matt Maiona, and Holt Fletcher , as well as our Coach Rob Kane am looking to help people in need during this crisis. On behalf of the Wellesley Baseball team we are raising money for The Greater Boston Food Bank to help put out more meals for families who need them. Any donation would be greatly appreciated by us and would be extremely beneficial to the families in our community who are out of work but need to continue feeding their loved ones. Our baseball team may not be able to get together in person to help families but this is a way we thought we could play a part in this effort. Also, Coach Kane is raffling off various items on his Twitter (@raider_baseball) with all proceeds also going to the Greater Boston Food Bank. A huge Thank You to everyone who has donated! The Wellesley Baseball team has raised an additional $2,000 for the Greater Boston Food Bank through the auctions I mentioned above. Let’s keep helping those in need!
