Our mother, Gail was a inmate at Huron Valley Correctional Facility where she contacted Covid-19 and asked for medical attention, it fell on death ears and she was ignored. When she finally received medical attention she was rushed to the hospital and immediately placed on a ventilator for 70% of her oxygen, in a medical coma, and medically paralyzed for 6 weeks. On May 11, she transitioned to be with the Lord and lost the battle against Covid-19. We are asking for assistance to help plan for her burial and memorial expenses. Her children and grandchildren want to be the voice for her that MDOC took away from her. To them she was a inmate, to us she was a mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and she was loved by many
