GREATEST NEED: Please help save Jordan Collins!
Donation protected
I am fundraising to help Jordan Collins. He is my friend's son AND my son's best friend.
I ask that you please help Jordan's support team handle medical costs and daily living expenses while being displaced from their home. Please help them to be able to focus on getting Jordan through this liver transplant, recovery and getting his life back!

If you want to volunteer to be tested as a donor, specify Jordan Collins: UPMC Transplant Services
Jordan was diagnosed at age 10 with primary sclerosing cholangitis.
In the fall of 2019, at the tender age of 20, at UPMC - Pittsburgh, he had his much anticipated live liver transplant from his mother - she was the perfect match!
Exactly three years later, in October 2022, he received the news that the liver was being rejected and another transplant was imminent.
The disease is deteriorating his liver quicker than expected, so he and his support team (Mom & Dad) had to move unexpectedly this week from their Florida home to be close to UPMC - Pittsburgh. As his mom said, the unexpected move related to the impending 2nd transplant has put a lot of balls in the air.
The Collins are incredibly hard-working and proud parents that have chosen to dedicate whatever it takes to make sure their son is back home and able to enjoy life again!
Jordan is one of the kindest people I have ever met. He has NEVER complained about ANY of the complications of the disease nor complained about the discomfort and pain he experiences daily. He has the kindest smile and an easygoing attitude.
Jordan was one of the best lacrosse players on his high school team - enduring hours of practice in the hot, humid Florida weather despite the disease destroying his liver! I was always amazed at his endurance!
My son is fortunate to be one of his best friends. These guys have big plans! Jordan was finally able to travel and made a visit to Seattle in June 2021, and - the guys were able to take a ski trip just this past Jan 2022. Jordan plans to travel to Europe, a goal he is determined to achieve.
I cannot wrap my head around Jordan preparing for another transplant - I can't imagine how he and his parents feel.
I plea that you help Jordan's support team focus on getting his life back and not have to be saddled with the financial pressures they are currently experiencing. Along with the unexpected day-to-day expenses for housing, transportation and food, they are also paying for live donor travels and medical costs, which are being incurred.
One person is currently being tested to see if they are the match - If not, they go back to square ONE. Only one person is tested at a time - SO please pray this person is the match! And the transplant can be done as soon as possible.
Time is not a luxury at this point - Jordan is very ill.
I've always heard 'life isn't easy' and 'bad things happen to good people' - no truer words have been spoken than these regarding Jordan and his support team.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all your donations and prayers for Jordan's healing and recovery. I believe in the Power of Prayer!
Gratefully,
An Avid HELP SAVE JORDAN supporter <3
