Green Valley Robotics & VEX World Championships!

For the first time in our school's history, Green Valley will be competing at the VEX World Championships! Team 945V, from Green Valley High School in Henderson, NV has the opportunity to represent the Silver State and will compete against the best of the best in the world's largest robotics competition, The VEX World Championship. This event will host over 800 teams from 50 different counties and will take place in Dallas, Texas on April 25-27th. In order to compete in this prestigious event, each team must qualify at the State level through performance or judged awards.

At this year's Nevada State Championship, Green Valley Robotics team 945V had an impressive 6 wins and 1 loss and was ranked 3rd in qualifications. Their outstanding winning record and their polished team interview allowed them to be considered for the Innovate Award. The Innovate Award, one of the highest Judged Awards, is given to teams who demonstrate effective management of time, talent, and resources in a clear, complete, and organized record of the robot design process. By winning the Innovate Award, Team 945V qualifies to advance to the VEX World Championship In Dallas Texas.

Team 945V consists of 7 future-changing, problem-solving, amazing freshmen. They are thrilled to have the opportunity to compete on a worldwide level, as well as collaborate with other future engineers. This opportunity will inspire them to achieve great things as they begin their adventure in engineering. YOU can be an instrumental part of their educational adventure by contributing to their trip to Dallas, Texas

The team truly appreciates any contribution you can make. All money raised will go directly to covering the cost of this trip including airfare ($3300), lodging ($5000), transportation ($1400), tournament registration ($1200), and necessary event supplies ($200). Any and all donations are greatly appreciated, no matter how large or small. If you are unable to give.
