Green Village Airpark Pond Levee Repair

Hey Y'all, we are Nathan and Denise A. We live off of Green Meadow, and have been here for just over 10 years, but I grew up in the neighborhood as my parents have lived here since 1999. As many of you know, a section of our levee has washed out causing the pond level to drop drastically. I am working with a few other folks in the neighborhood on attempting to repair this section of the levee.

The initial plan is to build a concrete wall with water level management piping going through it, after the concrete is in place we will back and front fill it to match it up with the remaining area of the levee. We are looking at getting started early August with the hopes of having the repair attempt complete by no later than the end of September. As you know, scheduling and time frame will be affected by weather, but our goal is to have the repairs done and ready before we get our fall rain this year.
