Help fund the new groomer for Green Woodlands!
Tax deductible
We’re launching our second-ever fundraising effort– this time to help cover the cost of our new-to-us groomer.
As many of you know, it takes a great deal of time and equipment to keep the ski trails in top condition. After a recent rain, the trails were wrecked and not fit for skiing. We tried using our old groomer, but it literally wasn’t scratching the surface. We quickly scrambled to put signs up and let the community know that we were closed.
Then a new hero came to the rescue. We were recently able to purchase a new-to-us PistenBully groomer from our friends at Dartmouth Cross Country Ski Center. And boy, was this its time to shine! The whole team worked twelve-hour days, and with the help of the PistenBully, not only were we able to re-open quickly, the feedback we heard out on the trails made it clear what a huge difference it made.
Just 24 hours after having to close the trails, people who had skied with us for years said the trails were the best they’d ever experienced. Shows what an impact this new groomer is already making!
We’re hoping the community can help us cover half the cost of this groomer. We’d love it if you can take a moment to donate or spread the word so we can reach our goal.
Thanks so much, Green Woodlands Foundation.
