Greenfield House Fire Support and Medical Services

Hobo is home! Hobo spent two nights at AVETS, where he stayed in his oxygen cage and received wonderful care from the vet team there. He started eating and drinking again, and did well outside the oxygen cage yesterday afternoon, so Dee was able to bring him home last night!

The total emergency vet bill at AVETS, including the deposit, was $5,061, including the $3500 deposit and $40 donated by a very kind person in the vet waiting room as Hobo was brought in. Thanks to your generous support of Hobo, Dee, Roxane, and John, there was extra money leftover for the family's short-term needs right now. We directed the rest of the money currently in GoFundMe to Dee and family. We are no longer requesting donations in this fund! If anything else comes through, we'll direct it to the family.

Hi, my name is Isaac and I'm fundrasing for my next door neighbors Dee, Roxane, and John. Very sadly, today there was a terrible house fire that destroyed the home and all of our neighrbors' belongings. While much of the house was destroyed, fire fighters were able to pull Dee's cat (Hobo) out of the fire with seconds to spare. However the cat was in very poor condition. We rushed Hobo to our neighborhood vet but the cat required more itensive medical treatment at the emergency vet in Monroeville.

To help cover the depost at AVETS we just paid ($3500), the rest of Hobo's care (estimated $4,000-$6,000 total for overnight 24/7 care at AVETS), as well as support any basic needs that Dee, Roxane, and John might need in the short term, we are raising funds.
