Greenhouses & Beekeeping for Artsakhsis

Yerazad Coalition is fundraising on behalf of the Artsakh Social Developments and Projects Fund (Արցախի Սոցիալական Զարգացման Ծրագրերի Հիմնադրամ/ASDPF) to build greenhouses and provide beekeeping opportunities for forcibly displaced families from Artsakh.

100% of the funds raised will go directly to ASDPF as they relaunch their greenhouse + beepeeking initiatives for recently displaced Artsakh families that are now living in Armenia.

ASDPF launched their fund in 2022, but their founders have worked for over 5 years in Artsakh on social and economic development projects, including a successful track record of starting greenhouses for Artsakh families. The greenhouses that ASDPF built for families in Artsakh not only provided an essential source of income but created food secure communities. This initiative in Armenia will do the same.

While this fundraiser is directly for the economic opportunities that ASDPF provides, ASDPF is also providing forcibly Artsakhsis with permanent housing and community services.

ASDPF has already identified families that were previous beneficiaries of ASDPF's greenhouse initiatives in Artsakh and are ready to begin farming in Armenia immediately. ASDPF will first conduct a needs assessment for all identified Artsakh families. Once the needs assessment has been established, funds will be distributed directly to the organization to begin building greenhouses and/or provide beekeeping materials. They will also provide specific materials/trainings depending on the family and the family's skillset.
