Greenpoint Native Displaced Due to House Fire

My name is Joe Wasserman and I am raising money for my sister, Sherry, whose apartment was destroyed in a terrible fire on December 15, 2023. This has caused her to be displaced just as the holidays are in full swing.

My family and I are so relieved that Sherry made it out of the fire safely. Unfortunately, nothing else made it out. All she owns right now are the clothes on her back and her phone. Despite doing all we can to support her, none of us can imagine the heartbreak, loss, and grief that she is experiencing.

Because of this, we want to make her adjustment to a new life as easy as possible.

We are doing everything we can to support Sherry as she restarts her life and readjusts to this new normal.
