Greenslate Farm Community Farm

Hi, my name is Dawn and I am raising funds for Greenslate Farm Community Farm.

Due to the recent storm damage to the yurt we thought maybe some help is needed.

We have wanted to raise funds for some time and we thought due to our daughter’s connection with the Greenslate Farm Community, Adaction in paticular, we thought the farm would be the perfect organisation that we could help.

Our daughter Carla Davies died tragically almost 4 years ago. Carla spent some time happily volunteering at the farm and it is a place that will always have a special place in our hearts.

Family and friends are taking part in a memory walk in her favourite place, the Lake District. We know that if Carla was still with us today, she would do anything in her power to help the farm out in anyway possible.

We are forever grateful for what the Greenslate Farm Community provided for our daughter, providing her with all the help and support she needed. Therefore we are hoping to raise money to contribute to renewing the yurt canopy, in name of our beloved Daughter, Sister, Mother, Auntie and Friend, Carla.

Every little helps is the philosophy for how small actions can add up to make a big difference. So please give what you can whether it be big or small. Let’s help to support our little community do big things.
