In Memory of Greg Drake - Help Support His Family

Greg Drake unexpectedly passed away on April 14, 2019 at the age of 50. Detective Drake was a nine-year veteran of the Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office and an outstanding member of the agency. He will be greatly missed by all.

Greg was presented with the Law Enforcement Officer of the Year award in 2017 when he was honored for his empathy, compassion and justice for the cases he investigated. As an investigator for sexual assault cases, which included some of the most heinous crimes, he continually demonstrated a high-level of competence and diligence to follow every lead as he seeked justice and closure for victims.

Greg spent his last days in the "Happiest Place on Earth" - his yearly trip to Disney with his loving family. We're asking for donations to help Greg's family with unexpected costs during this very difficult time. Greg's wife Elizabeth, and their children Jonathan, Izabel, and Seamus will greatly appreciate any help they receive. During this heartbreaking time, we are trying to take any burden off the family that we can. 

Greg's passion for his family, his community, and his love of music will be greatly missed. He left an impression on every person he met. There will never be another "Drake."
